Best Books
My sister sent me an email last night asking if I had any audiobooks I could recommend to her for her 20 minute ride to pick up her kids from school. Here's what I'd recommend to her or anyone else that spends at 20 to 30 minutes a day in the car. (Or, for that matter, anyone that has an ipod and isn't afraid of multitasking while doing other tasks like cleaning the house, cooking, exercising.)
Mornings on Horseback (about Theodore Roosevelt's bringing up years - really good!!)
Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln
Undaunted Courage (Lewis and Clark adventure - so good!)
The River of Doubt: Theodore Roosevelt's Darkest Journey (get the abridged version so you don't have to listen to all the botany stuff)
The Devil in the White City: Murder, Magic, and Madness at the Fair that Changed America
Into Thin Air
A Thousand Splendid Suns (depressing but interesting)
Seabiscuit
The Help
The Hiding Place
Harry Potter books
The Other Side of Heaven
Hunger Games
Catching Fire
Classics:
The Great Gatsby
Spiritual:
Yearning for the Living God
Excellent Self Help:
Difficult Conversations
Loving What Is
If someone asked you this question, what would you recommend?

I like to eat and dance and play
I wear Easter pajamas all year round. And I love my rocking horse! Whee!
I really get into my eating. It's fun. Don't bother me.
This sucks.
Don't judge us by our nasty deck and dead grass. It's not our house yet.

Fall Color Tour

I'm bored. I own this place. We need some fresh air. Let's go!

Ooooooo. Look at all the pretty trees and horses. I like it.

This is Angel's Hollow where we had dinner. Best burger I've had in a while. The owner, Lee, is loud, unique and friendly.

This is where we stayed, as usual. Thanks Eric and Debbie!
